Dogs make the best babysitters. They are low maintenance, sweet, intelligent and fun enough to make sure that human babies are well taken care of. They have an innate instinct to protect and look for other members of their family “pack”. This trait is commonly seen when little babies are exposed to pets. Whether it is because of the small size of a baby or the adorable laughs that they make when dogs play with them, our furry canines have a special affection for our little ones. They are more comfortable around babies because they see themselves as “higher ranking” where they have a responsibility to look out for.

She seems to like the shower of kisses of their family pet. Shih Tzu are one of the breeds that do well with babies. They are gentle creatures who have a special affection to humans. These dogs would do anything just to be with a human and get accepted by their masters. The intuition of these dogs about reading human body language and vocal signals are truly impressive. They can easily understand what a human is feeling even if we do not speak or move. They are smart to pick up clues from our actions and interpret it perfectly. This is seen in this Shih Tzu where she knows that she is making the baby happy that was shy she kept on pouncing around the kid. The laughs given off by the baby confirms her entertainment and for as long as the baby is happy she won’t stop playing around.
